Guest Obsessed. Experience Focus. Getting it Done.
I have over twelve years of experience in product and experience development, including software development, product leadership, and technical project management. I have worked with clients from various industries from hospitality to healthcare, from military to marketing. I have consistently delivered high-quality products within budget and on time.
I enjoy traveling, the arts, and playing sax when I'm not working. These hobbies help me stay creative and focused, leading to better work performance.
I am passionate about giving back to the community and regularly volunteer at local non-profit organizations that provide education and career training to underprivileged youth. I currently serve on the steering committee for the University of South Florida's College of Business Customer Experience Program.
Walt Disney's MagicBand is fully powered by the platform known as xConnect. As the Product Manager of the xConnect system, I spent many late nights and long days ensuring the proper product was built, deployed, and operated. Over 500 touchpoints and 1500 long-range readers are deployed worldwide—in parks, islands, and cruise ships—to ensure each guest receives a personalized experience every time.
Princess' MedallionClass experience is an award-winning, hyper-personalized collection of digital products and platforms to ensure guests maximize their cruise experience. As the solution architect, I was responsible for designing and owning how the entire system would work from end to end. Eventually working up to Director, Digital Products, I transitioned to the executive leader of all digital products, from the guest application to back-of-house MarTech and revenue management products.
ATARS is a revolutionary technology that projects an augmented reality environment in the sky for fighter pilots to train safely while performing dangerous maneuvers, sometimes for the first time. As the Product Manager for ATARS, I was responsible for all product functions, including requirements gathering, stakeholder managment, and the product roadmap. With close collaboration within the matrix organization, I took a proof of concept to a product, eventually receiving a fully funded, $30 million STRATFI award only awarded to less than 0.01% of startups who apply.
Covid was a challenging time for all, especially for the healthcare industry. To facilitate the at-home services and reduce the mental strain of patients managing their health journey during this stressful time, I was tasked with leading the product of AdventHealth's Care Advocacy as Director of Product Innovation. Through strategic alignment and risk-mitigated decisions, we took a 3-year roadmap down to 3 months and ramped up a 500-person prototype to 50000 users by the end of the year.
As CTO and Head of Product for EpiComplaince, I am ultimately responsible for all design, development, and delivery of the company's products and platforms. A suite of products designed to streamline the convoluted compliance process for healthcare facilities, EpiCompliance offers courses and automated tracking of facilities needed to ensure legal compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and Medicare requirements. Currently relied on by dozens of healthcare clinics and hundreds of medical professionals.
As one who would rather the products do the talking, many of the products I've worked on have gone on to set records and garner recognition in their industries. Just a few highlights:
